With a long wait for activity for the National team, we now have a good program ahead of us in the build up to the ICC European T20 finals in Desert Springs in October.

We kick off with a long awaited visit from Sweden to Copenhagen on 13-15 August, during which time we will enjoy a training time and workshop on the Friday and two T20 fixtures each on Saturday and Sunday. The matches are scheduled for 1000 and 1430.

Following that we have our squad match day on Sunday 22 August at Svanholm.

We then depart on a tough and exciting 3 day, 4 match tour to Holland on 23-25 August.

Finally as far as preparation goes, we travel to Desert Springs 12-15 September in a pre tournament camp looking to focus on maximising our readiness.

It is a real opportunity at this point for our players to showcase their ability to Europe and indeed the rest of the cricketing world.

Then 11-22 October we are in Desert Springs with an opportunity to progress to the next stage of World Cup qualification. We will be in competition with Italy, Jersey and Germany, with the top two teams qualifying for the next round early in 2022.

Later in November and early December we are on our way to Malaysia to participate in the next round of the ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge league, which forms part of the 2023 Cricket World Cup qualification process.
